“Doc Hollywood” Steven Hoefflin
Doctor Steven Hoefflin was nicknamed “Doc Hollywood” when he became the consultant for the movie of the same name that starred Michael J. Fox. The name was well-deserved as he is considered the original plastic surgeon to Hollywood stars.
Although it was his principle to never divulge the names of his famous clientele, a scandal that broke out in 1999 revealed the celebrities that went under his scalpel. He was later cleared of the charges but the names that were exposed included Angie Everhart (who had gotten breast implants), Elizabeth Taylor (received facial surgery), and Don Johnson (facial surgery and liposuction). Janet Jackson, Joan Rivers, and plastic surgery addict Michael Jackson are also some of Doctor Hoefflin’s patients.
